At the market of Prinos  

which take place every Monday, you will meet the local people to buy fruits, vegetables, plants, flowers clothes and things for their houses. The summer season you will meet a lot of tourists which they are coming all over the island mostly to see around and to buy a few fruits. 

There you can eat a tastefull souvlaki at Jim's place which is called Platanos or to drink your coffee or beer.
